What past childfree group participants have said:

“Traveling can be such a wonderful, life-changing experience…but that experience can be very different when catered to children and not adults. I truly appreciate having come across Katie’s travel company and being able to vacation with other child-free adults. This trip was the start of what will hopefully be many more child-free vacations with the new friends that I’ve made!” – Dréya

“Katie has the patience of an angel! Coordinating such a large group can be hectic but Katie made it all a breeze for us! She answered all the questions and provided great tips for first time cruisers. I can’t wait to travel with her again!” – Daliyce

“Katie is a wonderful, patient and kind person who could restore the worlds faith in humanity. Passionate about her work and the people she shares her time with.” – Dann

“I’ve always talked myself out of going on a Childfree group trip because I didn’t want to travel alone, didn’t want to spend the money, or take time off work. I finally talked myself into going and it was the trip of a lifetime! I had absolutely nothing to be afraid of. Meeting up with the group was like being surrounded by family. It was never uncomfortable or awkward. I had a blast!!! I miss everyone terribly. I cannot wait for our next trip!” -Em

FAQs

How big is the resort?

This is a smaller, quieter resort with just over 200 bungalow style rooms. The resort is set into a hill and is spread out so expect to get some steps in or you can use the complimentary shuttle to get around the property.

When is check-in and check-out?

Check-in time starts at 3pm. Check-out is by noon.

What is the beach like?

The beach is made of volcanic sand so it is more of a black-sand beach that can be a bit rocky in places.

What kind of activities are there?

There is a tennis court, two pools, morning yoga classes, kayaking, aqua stretching, snorkeling, beach volleyball, paddleboard lessons, and sunset hike all available at the resort. Evening activities vary from movies, live DJ, bingo, blackjack, karaoke, etc.

For an additional cost you can take tours such as whitewater rafting, rainforest tours, waterfall tours, Arenal Volcano tours, ziplining and more. We will plan one group excursion off-site on Friday, Feb 7 and can help you book tours on other days.

What airport should I fly into?

Fly into Liberia, Costa Rica. Airport code LIR. DO NOT fly into San Jose Costa Rica unless you are spending extra time in the country. It is a 5 hour drive from San Jose airport to the resort and only 30 minutes to the resort from the Liberia airport.

What should I do if I need a roommate?

Please register below with the note that you are looking to be matched with a roommate. We assist with roommate matching but cannot guarantee it. There are rooms with two double beds, however all bed types are only requested and not guaranteed.
