6-Night European River Cruise: December 6-12, 2026
Immerse yourself in a real winter fairytale as you embark on a magical journey along the Danube. Visit the enchanting Christmas Market in Nuremberg. In the famous Wachau region, delight in the region’s finest wines, warmed to perfection, as you toast to the joyous season at the mulled wine party on board.
Along the way, explore sleepy little towns that seem straight out of a storybook. Wander through quaint streets adorned with twinkling lights and festive decorations, and let the serene riverscapes captivate your senses.
Day 1: Dec 6
Welcome to a wintery Nuremberg, home to the famous Nuremberg lebkuchen (gingerbread)! Your magical Advent journey to the most beautiful Christmas markets along the Danube starts here. Embark after 4pm, where you have the opportunity to meet the cruise director at a Welcome Cocktail, and thereafter a generous Welcome Dinner awaits you in the Panorama Restaurant. Your ship remains anchored in Nuremberg overnight.
Day 2: Dec 7
You will have free time this morning and the option to purchase a morning sightseeing tour through a festively decorated Nuremberg which takes you past all its main attractions. Don’t miss the trip to the famous Nuremberg Christmas market, where culinary specialties, artisan crafts, and regional products are on offer.
At lunch time (by 1pm), you return to your ship, which heads towards Regensburg.
Day 3: Dec 8
At breakfast time, you reach the Bavarian town of Regensburg, which boasts one of the best-preserved medieval old towns in Germany.
Choose to purchase a guided city walking tour which will show you the city’s most beautiful side, and in the afternoon you can purchase a tour to visit the Thurn and Taxis Castle which is guaranteed to put you in a festive mood. This is the site of one of the most beautiful Christmas markets of the region, which you should on no account miss. Alternatively, you can visit Weltenburg Abbey.
Thereafter you will return to your ship, which leaves Regensburg after dinner (9pm departure)
Day 4: Dec 9
In the morning you arrive in Passau, the romantic “City of Three Rivers”. After breakfast, you have the option to purchase a guided walking tour through this picturesque town where the Danube, Inn and Ilz Rivers meet.
After lunch, you can visit the festively decorated Christmas market in Passau, and the ship sets sail for Austria at 3:30pm.
Day 5: Dec 10
When you awake, you can enjoy a wonderful view of one of the most beautiful landscapes in Austria – the Wachau. You will have from 8am-12:30pm to explore this morning. Emmersdorf is the starting point for a trip through this wintery region. There is an optional excursion you can purchase which will include a visit to Melk Abbey. Or visit the wine-growers village of Dürnstein as an alternative. At the end of both tours, we invite you to a glühwein (mulled wine) party on board, while your vessel continue its journey to Vienna, which you will reach in the evening around 6:30pm.
You can purchase a ticket to attend the concert “Sound of Vienna”, where the “Alt Wien” Salon Orchestra will entertain you with Viennese classics.

Day 6: Dec 11
Today will be devoted entirely to the magical, wintery Danube city of Vienna. Purchase a city sightseeing trip from the comfort of a tour coach, which will take you to the most beautiful sights and elegant buildings in Vienna. After lunch, we recommend a visit to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, where an atmospheric Christmas market awaits you. Here, the pervasive pre-Christmas atmosphere and the aromas of lebkuchen (gingerbread) and roasted almonds combine in an unforgettable, authentic Advent experience.
In the evening, an elegant captain’s Gala Dinner takes place on board, during which you can enjoy a wonderful Advent ambience.
Day 7: Dec 12
After breakfast on board, you disembark and begin your onward journey from Vienna. We wish you a pleasant and safe journey, and a happy festive season!

Arrive anytime today. Airport transfer in Marrakech to the hotel is included.
November 24: Marrakech
Marrakech city tour from 9am-5pm. Free evening.
November 25: Travel to Dades Gorge
Drive most of the day seeing stunning scenery with a stop on the way at the capital city of cinema in Africa.
November 26: Travel to Sahara Desert
Travel to the Sahara desert with a stop at the spectacular Todra Gorges on the way. Ride camels to our desert campsite for the night.
November 27: Travel to Fes
Choose to wake up for amazing sunrise views in the desert. Later we drive through more beautiful scenery in the Middle Atlas with multiple stops on the way to Fes.
November 28: Travel to the Blue City
We will have a guided tour of Fes in the morning, visiting the Royal Palace Gate, the Jewish Quarter and the old medina. In the afternoon we travel to Chefchaouen, the blue city.
November 29: Travel to Meknes
We leave the blue city after breakfast to visit ancient Roman ruins near Meknes.
November 30: Travel to Marrakech
After breakfast we visit Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Then we travel to Casablanca to visit the Hassan II Mosque and finish our day back in Marrakech.
December 1: Depart

Experience the annual Day of the Dead festivities around Mexico City with a local guide and our small group of up to 12 people.

October 30th
Plan to arrive and transfer to the hotel before 6pm for our welcome meeting!
There is an optional dinner with the group this evening (dinner cost not included).
October 31
Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Afterwards, the group will experience a walking tour of Mexico City led by a knowledgeable guide.
We will visit the Frida Kahlo Museum and visit Mercado San Juan where we can get lunch (lunch cost not included).
Choose to relax, explore on your own, or join an optional tour to Xochimilco, also known as Doll’s Island in the afternoon.
Meet up for dinner with the group (dinner not included).
We will then watch some street festivities and feel the deathly vibes of Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead).
November 1st
Head to San Pedro Tlahuac where Nahuatl descendants preserve traditions from Pre-Columbian times.
Visit a local family, get acquainted with their traditional customs and join them to create an altar.
We will visit the local cemetery and see how the families decorate the graves of their ancestors with the belief that when they return from the dead, their spirits will go to the cemetery first. Some even elaborately decorate paths to their homes with flower petals to lead the spirits back.
Continue to Puebla, arriving in the evening.
November 2nd
Start the day with a walking tour of Puebla with our local guide.
Then, head back to the fast-paced capital of Mexico City.
Later on, head out with the group for an optional evening of dinner and drinks in any one of Mexico City’s hippest neighborhoods to toast to our adventure together.
November 3rd
Have breakfast at the hotel this morning and say goodbye to your new friends. You are free to leave at any time today.
Alaska Land and Sea, July 19-30, 2023
Join our group trip starting in Fairbanks, Alaska. We will explore the “Golden Heart” of Alaska and then head south to Denali National Park, the crown jewel of Alaska. Ride the scenic train south to join our cruise ship for more adventure, glacier viewing, and all the seafood you can eat!

July 19
Our group trip officially starts today, although I encourage you to fly in to Fairbanks on the 18th to account for any possible flight or luggage delays.
July 20
This morning we will take a riverboat tour and see a float plane landing, a sled dog demonstration, and a replica of a Native Alaskan village.
We will ride in a comfortable coach to our lodge just outside of Denali National Park.
July 21
We will take a guided wilderness tour into Denali National Park to look for wildlife and enjoy the expansive views of Denali and the surrounding mountains. Enjoy free time in the afternoon.
July 22
We will take the scenic train with large dome windows south to Anchorage for more opportunities to see the peak of Denali and other beautiful views.
July 23
We will continue our train journey to Whittier port to join our cruise ship home for the next week.
July 24
Relax on your balcony while viewing the beautiful scenery of Hubbard Glacier.
July 25
Today is bound to be a favorite with scenic cruising in Glacier Bay National Park. National Park Rangers will come on board to answer questions and provide information about the area.
July 26
Port Day in Skagway where the most recommended activity is taking the White Pass Scenic Rail.
July 27
Explore Juneau, Alaska’s capital city. This is a great spot for whale watching and getting close to the Mendenhall Glacier.
July 28
Walk along the historic Ketchikan boardwalk with shops on stilts, try a crabbing or fishing excursion, or watch the entertaining lumberjack show.
July 29
A day of scenic cruising and a chance for you to relax and enjoy activities around the ship.
July 30
We will depart the ship for the last time in Vancouver, Canada. Choose to spend some extra time in Canada or fly home this afternoon.
